GSC is Malaysia’s largest cinema chain. And yes, all sorts of jokes were made about being paid in popcorn & drinks.
GSC approached Internut for a one-off project. Little did we know it would end up being more than that and spanned into multiple collaborations that covered apps, website, social media and even animation that included two popular flicks (Star Wars: The Force Awakens & James Bond’s Spectre). A suitable solution for in-cinema displays and digital cinema format would also be included later on alongside EDMs.
Every project was result-driven that were supported by analytics and ongoing user research. With the final number tripling their previous digital campaigns, Internut’s efforts were a testament to what can be achieved through a strong partnership, hard work and focus… and a lot of popcorn.
